I stumbled upon this beautiful installation by Joris Kuiper. Bright hued rich colors floating with a definite direction reminds me of my mentor’s early work. She opened my eyes to see colors in white clouds. Colors are ethereal in a sense that they only come alive when given a body to live in. But how about rainbow and mirage? Are they not of this earth? The title of the work above, Loosened completely, comes from the Peter Schilling’s song, Mayor Tom, the artist says.
