Installation
Blessings II
The installation consists of 144 sheets of double-sided paper tiles tessellated in a three dimensional space. Each tile has crosshatched-line-patterns on one side and color wash on the opposite side. The frontal view consists of octagonal shapes that could be read as a hypercube (a cube in four-dimensional space), but the actual flatness of the paper resists illusion. The lateral view shows colored tiles are arranged in a way to create a slow movement, shifting from green, orange, to violet.
These pieces remind me of my math studies in grad school. Very cool! Makes me proud to know you. 🙂
