My parents came back from Europe today. My dad wanted to share pictures he has taken throughout his ten day trip in England, Paris, Swiss, and Italy. The pictures brought back to my own memories of traveling in Europe when I was in college. I remember I stalled in front of this statue in St Peter’s Basilica in Vatican for quite some time. ‘Why is it so beautiful?’ I asked myself. Of suffering, I did not know much, but I knew this much: Profound sadness accompanies grace.
